Because the Trump presidency is falling to pieces, everyone in a seat of power in the White House is walking on a tight rope. Not only does this include the president’s treasonous son, Donald Trump Jr. and Ivanka’s husband, Jared Kushner, who was also involved in colluding with Russia, but even Trump’s high paid lawyer, Marc Kasowitz is at his wit’s end. And as a result, he has embarrassed himself on the public stage when he couldn’t maintain a respectful and professional tone in his anger-fueled email exchange with a complete stranger.
President Trump has hired Marc Kasowitz as a personal attorney to handle his family’s Russian collusion case. But now the “professional” has threatened a complete stranger in a series of profane emails on Wednesday night.
The victim, a retired public relations professional, has asked to remain anonymous. He lives in the western United States and simply wrote an email to Kasowitz after reading the ProPublica story on the lawyer.
The subject line of the email got under Kasowitz’s skin. It simply read: “Resign Now.”
Between 9:30pm and 10pm, Kasowitz shot back a flurry of email responses. One read:
“I’m on you now. You are f***ing with me now Let’s see who you are Watch your back , b**ch.”
But Kasowtiz could not contain himself. As he got his threats going, he continued to send email after email to his victim, ladling on the verbal abuse.
Kasowitz wrote in a separate email: “Call me. Don’t be afraid, you piece of s**t. Stand up. If you don’t call, you’re just afraid.”
While he had threatened the retiree several times, he wasn’t done. He wanted blood.
“I already know where you live, I’m on you. You might as well call me. You will see me. I promise. Bro.”
When the media got ahold of these threatening emails, Kasowitz was approached for a comment. But his spokesperson Michael Sitrick was conveniently absent.
The emails had been verified. ProPublica confirmed that Kasowitz’s cellphone number matched the one given to his abuse victim. They also ran tests on the email IP addresses and learned that it originated from Kasowitz’s company’s private email server.
Because Kasowitz is not seeking security clearance to deal with Trump’s Russian collusion case, the man grew angry and emails the lawyer.
Media sources claim that Kasowitz would not be given security clearance because of his alleged alcohol problem. Former employees admitted that Kasowitz often made them feel uncomfortable. It is unclear if this relates to sexual harassment or bullying tactics – both of which are possible.
After Kasowitz’s reputation started going down the toilet, his spokesperson finally released a statement – denying everything.
“Marc Kasowitz has not struggled with alcoholism,” Sitrick wrote. “He has not come into the office intoxicated, attorneys have not had to go across the street to the restaurant during the workday to consult Kasowitz on work matters.”
Eventually, Kasowitz issued the following statement through spokespeople:
“The person sending that email is entitled to his opinion and I should not have responded in that inappropriate manner,”Kasowitz said. “I intend to send him an email stating just that. This is one of those times where one wishes he could reverse the clock, but of course I can’t.”
