FOX News Conducted Poll To Cast Negative Light On “DREAMers.”, Fails Miserably

Updated January 25, 2018

On the eve of President Trump’s one year anniversary of his presidency, the government shut down. And as SNL joked, Trump almost made it a whole year without the government shutting down. Not only does this demonstrate the ineptness of the Republican-majority government, but it has also revealed how the Republican politicians have no conscience to speak of. When they used the lives of children as a bargaining chip to make the Democrats bend, they stooped to a new low that reflects the lackluster presidency of Trump.

At the time of this writing, the government is still shut down. The Republicans refuse to care about American children relying on the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) or those protected by the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA).

Because FOX News is the media pawn of the Republican party, they conducted a poll to see if the public supported protecting undocumented “DREAMers” as the people who benefit from DACA are called.

And while Trump and his GOP goons want to deport the nearly 800,000 DACA children who call America home, the American people have a lot more sympathy for these children than the Republicans. These children were brought to America as no fault of their own, and they do not know a life outside of this country.

The FOX News poll showed the public’s overwhelming support for DACA. The people have spoken and want the government to protect the children protected under DACA.

Unperturbed with the survey results, FOX News tweeted: “Poll: 73% support bill protecting undocumented ‘DREAMers.’”

Even the entertainment network controlled by the Republicans could not fabricate poll results that favored the GOP’s inhumane position on the matter. And as the government, led by Trump and the GOP in all branches, continues to fail the American people, the Republicans are going to face a very tough mid-term election this November.

Although Trump is a self-proclaimed master dealmaker, he has not been able to carve out a deal with Democratic politicians. If he cannot work with American citizens, how is Trump supposed to make agreements with foreign nations? It seems like the only politician Trump can get along with and collaborate with is Vladimir Putin. Or at least it is as suspected as much.

Right now Senators are stepping in to create a deal to end the government shutdown. They are proposing a temporary measure to fund the government so long as immigration comes to a vote in the coming weeks.

Meanwhile, Trump blames the Democrats for the shutdown.

“The Democrats are turning down services and security for citizens in favor of services and security for non-citizens. Not good!” Trump wrote on Twitter.

And House Speaker Paul Ryan calls the Democrat’s moral stance both “bizarre” and “just ridiculous.”

“We were in bipartisan, earnest, good-faith DACA negotiations before the shutdown,” Ryan said on “Fox & Friends.”

As the Republicans flounder, Trump has been uncharacteristically quiet. But he did say that if a “stalemate continues,” the Republicans should use the “Nuclear Option” to rewrite the rules of how the Senate votes.
